    Maiden Of The Sea

    Maiden Of The Sea

    James McShane had but one aim;
To find that, which ignites desire's flame.
If only he knew her name…

    Maiden, maiden, of the sea
Come to me, oh come to me.
My heart is full of love for thee.
    Maiden, maiden, of the sea.

So he set sail on the seven,
Upon the month, and well past the hour of eleven.
In search for "that gift from heaven!"

    Maiden, maiden, of the sea
Come to me, oh come to me.
My heart is full of love for thee.
    Maiden, maiden, of the sea.

    With his spyglass he did gaze;
    Through the mist and haze,
He saw her tail slowly raise.

    Maiden, maiden, of the sea
Come to me, oh come to me.
My heart is full of love for thee.
    Maiden, maiden, of the sea.

    Then he glimpsed her face so fair;
While she combed her long auburn hair.
In voice strong he did declare…

    Maiden, maiden, of the sea
Come to me, oh come to me.
My heart is full of love for thee.
    Maiden, maiden, of the sea.

She swam on never to realize,
As his salty tears stung his eyes.
    Unable to hear his cries…

    Maiden, maiden, of the sea
Come to me, oh come to me.
My heart is full of love for thee.
    Maiden, maiden, of the sea.

    To Whom It May Concern

Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 09:23 AM EST [Poetry]

As I idle away the hours, thoughts of you spring forth like flowers.
Thoughts I would not dare to be shown, for they are mine and mine alone.
To sit with you face to face, how my mind begins to race.

    I am hypnotized, by your ice blue eyes;
With their candle-lit glow that ignites my soul.
To say, "When I hear you speak, it leaves me weak."
Is a comparison most pale, because all words fail.

Your charm and wit are most beguiling, try as I might I can't keep from smiling.
Blushing every time you walk by, not even enough courage to say, "Hi."
There is still so much I could say, but what good would that do anyway.

Thus this shall be, tossed into the sea.
Called forgetfulness, and I wish you both much happiness.

Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime?

Tuesday, May 13, 2008, 10:36 AM EST [General]

Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime?

Pay attention to what you read.  After you read this, you will
know the reason it was sent to you!

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a
lifetime.  When you figure out which one it is, you will know
what to do for each person.

     REASON:

When someone is in your life for a REASON. . .
It is usually to meet a need you have expressed.  They have come
to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance
and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are!  They are there for
the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an
inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring
     the relationship to an end.

     Sometimes they die.
     Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire
     fulfilled, their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered.

And now it is time to move on.

     SEASON:

When people come into your life for a SEASON it is because your
turn has come to share, grow, or learn.  They bring you an
experience of peace or make you laugh.  They may teach you
something you have never done.  They usually give you an
unbelievable amount of joy.  Believe it!  It is real!

     But, only for a season.

     LIFETIME:

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you
must build upon in order to have a solid e motional foundation.

Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what
you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of
     your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life.

     Stop here and just SMILE.

Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
And dance like no one is watching.
